The AMS Fuselage Lifting System (FLS) provides a groundbreaking solution for dealing with this problem. It is the first fully modular fuselage lifting system available for lifting small to larger aircraft (e.g. A380) with unique features that include:

  • Designed for lifting aircraft in accordance with the Aircraft Recovery Manual (ARM)
  • A Fixed Pitch Sling System © that prevents mis-alignment of the sling on fuselage frames
  • Light weight components
  • A patented lifting sling attachment mechanism that distributes the load evenly on each sling

AMS manufactured the system from steel to allow any damage during use to be clearly identified, without the need for complex X-ray equipment normally required for composite beams.

An important feature is that the system is easy to maintain, with no composite materials to consider.
