AMS TRAINING
At AMS, we consider that the training of our customers in the
operation of our world-class recovery systems to be vital. As
such, we offer a comprehensive range of training courses that
are suited each customer’s individual requirements.
Initial factory training is conducted at our training
facility in the UK and is offered as an option to all airports
when purchasing and AMS recovery system. At our facility,
which is located at an International Airport in the UK, we are
the original & only company to provide our own passenger
aircraft for practical training.
The course syllabus covers, Health & Safety, PPE, Site
Preparation, Aircraft Preparations, Equipment Familiarisation,
Inflation Procedure, Aircraft Removal and maintenance and
servicing of the equipment.
Each training course in the UK is restricted to a maximum
number of students. This is to ensure that each member of the
team has the opportunity to act as ‘Team Leader’ for the
lift of the aircraft. Each aircraft lift is conducted under
the guidance of our qualified aircraft recovery instructor.
Strict health and Safety rules apply at all times and to
ensure the safety of the team, full PPE is provided by AMS.
Theory training also forms an important part of our training
course and this is conducted in a fully air-conditioned
classroom. All theory training is supported with PowerPoint
presentations, videos and actual aircraft recovery operations
in which AMS Recovery Engineers have been involved.
Each student will also receive upon arrival a training pack,
containing full information on the course syllabus and other
useful information about AMS and the course.
Upon request, we have available guest speakers, with over 30
years experience in aircraft recovery & salvage operations
to share their experience with you.
UK courses are conducted in English.
Full accommodation and meals can also be arranged if
required. We can provide transport for the airport transfers
and this transport is also available for course related visits
during the duration of the course.
AMS also offer refresher-training courses at our facility.
These courses are based upon the same syllabus as the full
course but are generally conduct over a two or three day
period.
After delivery of a recovery system, AMS provide on site
training for the airport. This training is generally made
available to a bigger group and our qualified instructors are
comfortable in giving instruction to groups of 40 or 50
members.
The on site training courses follow the same syllabus as the
UK based training course, as our instructors are fully
equipped to support the training using our own electronic
presentation equipment.
AMS have trained over 900 students from international
airports, airlines and military establishments in the use of
AMS aircraft recovery equipment, giving AMS unparalleled
experience in the field of aircraft recovery equipment
training
AMS Systems Engineering Ltd are dedicated not only to
delivering a world class quality product, but by also offering
all our customers, both new and existing, a first class
